3 dl Sunflower oil

Steps

1
Prepare the potatoes

Peel the potatoes. Cut them across the middle at the widest part, so you end up with two flat halves. Then cut 1 cm thick slices to give the fries rustic shape.

2
Cook the fries

Place the potatoes in a frying pan or pot. Cover with oil.

Turn on the heat to 150 ºC and let them cook for 40 minutes. Turning occasionally.

Use a slotted spoon to remove the fries from the oil. Place them on paper towels to soak up any grease.

Season with salt and serve.

Notes

If you use the 28 cm pan, you can fit 2 baked potatoes in one layer. The potatoes should then be turned when you are about halfway through.

If you use the saucepan, there is room for 3-4 baking potatoes, depending on the size of the potatoes.

Allow about 1 baked potato per person.
