
Smash Burger
A smash burger consists of two thin patties instead of one thicker one, as in a classic burger. This gives more grill flavour, as there is double frying area, and room for more cheese.
When patties are so thin, they also need to be cooked differently. The need to cook for a shorter time and at a higher temperature, to avoid overcooking the meat.
Ingredients
Secret Sauce
1 dl Mayonnaise
1 dl Tomato ketchup
2 tbsp. Relish or pickled cucumber
2 tsp. Sugar
2 tsp. Lemon juice
The steaks
800 gram Minced beef, about 20% fat
2 tsp. Salt
Butter for frying
8 pcs. Cheddar, sliced
The buns
4 pcs. Brioche burger buns
25 gram Butter
To serve
1 pcs. Onion
2 pcs. Tomato
