Pasta with Meat Sauce
Pasta with meat sauce is a great weeknight dinner, but on a busy day, there’s not always time to let the sauce simmer. Dinner has to be ready quickly, preferably 10 minutes ago. This recipe is for just those days, but if you have a little extra time then feel free to let the sauce simmer.
We’ve added some extra vegetables in the form of grated carrots and zucchini, but feel free to use what you have on hand – bell peppers and mushrooms are also a nice addition.

Notes
The soy sauce, balsamic vinegar and syrup help to add a depth of flavour to the sauce, that you would otherwise get by letting it simmer for a longer period. But if you have time, then please let the sauce simmer for longer, as it will only make it better.
You can replace the balsamic vinegar with 1 dl of red wine. Add the red wine before adding the canned tomatoes. Let the meat sauce simmer at 100 ºC for 1-3 hours, depending on how much time you have.
