Caramelized soft onions are delicious on meatloaf, in a steak sandwich or on burgers. With Ztove, it’s super easy to make without risking them getting burnt.

Prepare the onions
Fry the onions
If the onions seem to get a little too dry while frying, then add a little more butter – they almost need to be deep-fried. It is difficult to specify an exact amount of butter, as it depends on the size of the onions and how finely they are cut.
If you want to speed up the process, then add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and a little water to the onions to soften them.
